Chile

Group Machiels is developing bespoke industrial real estate projects in Chile. The Group is creating a new future for a 10-hectare site near the port of Concepción, where there is already a 2.700 m² industrial building. It is an ideal operating base for logistics activities using multi-modal cargo transport.

Argentina

Group Machiels also has ambitions to expand a business park in a key strategic location in Argentina. The project, called Zárate, is situated on the Parana River, in Zárate, some 80 km west of the capital Buenos Aires. The river connects Paraguay and Argentina to the Atlantic Ocean. The site measures 265 hectares and borders the river along 350 metres. It is an ideal operating base for maritime and industrial activities. Companies in the chemical, automotive, timber processing and food industries are based in the immediate vicinity.

Development of land measuring approximately 265 ha, named El Carmen, (80 km from Buenos Aires), borders the Parana river over a length of about 400m. The Parana river allows the passage of ‘Panamax’-class ships with a length of 289m, width of 32m and a draft of 12m, transporting 5.000 TEU or 52.500 tons.
