Vandaag is Group Machiels actief op wereldschaal. Met zijn thuisbasis in België en vanuit zijn tweede thuisland Chili realiseert de Group ook activiteiten in Zuid-Amerika (Peru en Argentinië). Telkens gebeurt dit in nauw overleg en in goede samenwerking met de plaatselijke overheden en gereputeerde lokale partners.

Europa en Zuid-Amerika vormen twee afzonderlijke bedrijfsentiteiten. De bundeling van de activiteiten – met als pijlers hernieuwbare energie, milieubeheer en vastgoed – is op beide continenten omzeggens identiek.

Ondanks het uitgesproken internationaal karakter blijft het familiebedrijf Machiels trouw aan zijn Limburgse roots. Machiels heeft zijn thuisbasis en kenniscentrum in België, in de groene provincie Limburg. In de toekomst streeft Group Machiels er naar om zijn uniek verworven marktpositie zowel in de regio Limburg als internationaal verder te valoriseren.
