• MAC2

  Via MAC2, Group Machiels is responsible for the annual recycling of 17.000 tonnes of oil from 2.500 seagoing vessels, which corresponds to 667 fully loaded tankers.

• Waterleau

  Through Waterleau, Group Machiels purifies 1 million m3 of water per day by managing 11 installations. This corresponds to the purification of 146.000 Olympic-sized swimming pools per year.

• Remo

  At the Houthalen-Helchteren site, industrial and household waste was until recently processed in a sustainable manner with respect for nature. Today, Group Machiels continues to manage this site in an active and responsible manner.

South-Amerika

• Hidronor

  Through Hidronor, Group Machiels recycles around 350.000 families each year, which represents 346.000 tonnes of recycled material at 3 sites in Chile (Santiago, Antofagasta and Copiulemu).

• Forest areas

  With a view to the future, Group Machiels invested in the acquisition of potentially interesting land in Chile.

• Deelkraal Wildlife

  Group Machiels is responsible for the sustainable management of the Deelkraal nature reserve in South Africa.
